This painting started from a drawing prompt and turned into a celebration of one of my favourite films and TV series; The Dark Crystal. The vial contains vital essence- the soul of a being, the thing that makes us who we are. It is my reminder to hold on to that, and treasure it :)
Each print is hand painted with pearlescent white/silver paint and titled/signed at the bottom of the image.
 
Printed on beautiful A4 (210mm x 297mm) sized 190gsm Bockingford Watercolour paper using pigment inks, to ensure all the details and colour of the original watercolour illustration are retained. Pigment inks produce long lasting, vivid colours and more durable prints than dye-based alternatives.
